I have been asked to set up my demo shop at the Hand Tool Event also.

And I have recieved I think 4 letters already wanting me to demo at events this summer, which I have turned down because of the price of gas, the distance to travel and most importantly my back won't allow it. In years past in the late 80's and the 90's I was out almost every weekend, but that got to be too much of a hassle, what with working all week too.

I will be there Saturday. Looks like a fun event.

LOL, Paul, you may not believe it, but I had to slow down as I wanted to follow the line closely. I'm not kidding, Roger can verify how fast I can cut with that saw.

Yes I can. As you watch the video, count 6 full strokes and see how far he progesses. IIRC, the saw web is 2 1/2" wide and Jr usually cuts more than the web width per stroke.

At one gathering we ripped a 3/4" white oak board. I could get 9" with 6 strokes which was pretty cool. Jr. cut 17" with 6 strokes! It is also the easiest way to rip I have ever experienced. Just the thing for us old dudes with bad backs.

I was pretty sick at the event, turns out I had a bout of H1N1. I spent the next 3 days in bed. I hope I didn't give it to you.

Thankfully No, Roger, it would have killed my wife in her condition, but we had the shots, so I guess we lucked out.

I am recovering from some side effects of the shingles shot we got Friday.
